Almond Butter Banana Bread


I made this recipe with my little one in mind. She has just starting eating solids and we are encouraging her to eat a mixture of purées and soft foods. This recipe is great for her because it has no added sugar! It is made with whole foods and naturally sweetened with banana and apple sauce. *Please note there are allergens in this recipe including almonds (nuts) and eggs which should be introduced to your baby beforehand to ensure they will not experience any allergic reactions. Cut in strips or small pieces for your baby to enjoy if they are under 1 year old. This recipe is gluten-free and dairy-free.  


Ingredients: 

-1 1/2 cup oats, ground (I used a blender, you can use a food processor as well)

-1 tsp baking powder

-1/2 tsp baking soda 

-1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce 

-2 medium eggs

-2 bananas, mashed 

-1 tsp pure vanilla extract

-1/4 cup almond butter 

Mix ingredients as listed in medium bowl using a large spoon or fork. Pour batter into greased loaf pan or glass dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Let Cool & Enjoy!
